I recently finished Valkyries by Coelho and it was ok. It was more of a personal account of his trip to California where he was looking to see his guardian angel. Sounds religious but it isn’t really. More of a spiritual journey.
Next, Eleven Kinds of Loneliness. I read the first “chapter” and it seems that each one is a new short story. I am not positive yet. Yates’ writing style is a bit more sophisticated than Coelho’s but I have enjoyed it thus far. Yes, I read now. How about that?
